6.0.88 Billing Release Notes

Billing Release Scheduled for 2/22/23 at 7:00AM EST

NOTICE:  Release will take place from 7AM- 7:15AM, the application will not be accessible during the update.

It is recommended after each release; users clear their browser cache.  This can be done by using the F12 key on your keyboard, right-clicking on the browser refresh button and selecting "Empty Cache and Hard Reload".

This document explains functionality updates to the AIM Online V6 Billing application. For additional information, please contact Customer Support at 1-800-726-4362 or support@aim-system.com.

Report/Queue Updates

  1. The Security, Current User Listing report is updated to include columns for Roles and Agency for each user.

Accounts/Subscription Updates

  1. Receipt option added to Dues History for each transaction.

Billing Updates

  1. Batch Transaction, Contractual Allowance postings, calculate option updated to auto-calculate the Debit/Credit field in the transaction, based off the Total, Amount to Post.
  2. Process Reconciliation updated to display the following reports, before the user is prompted to archive the file:
    1. Print Recon Report Only
    2. Print Recon for Individual Bill

Improvements

  1. Reports and Queues optimized to return results in a more efficient manner.
  2. Electronic Auto claims corrected when Property and Casualty number is required.
  3. Contractor Report and Queue under Billing, Accounting Reports, updated to include Current Balance as a standard filter.
  4. Billing, Configuration Settings for Recon Payment Posting Options updated to use the correct values with associated selections.
  5. Billing searches for ‘Greater than or Equal to’ on Last Name/First Name corrected to no longer error.
  6. Date of Service searches in the Billing Module updated to return correct dates in results.
  7. Information Tab, Subscriber field updated to display correct status when imported from PCR.
  8. Billing Setup for Payer Approved Amounts date range sort corrected.
  9. If the “Set Incomplete Status” is selected on the Payers Tab, the active payer and any other payers that are not printed or transmitted will also be set as an “Incomplete” status.
  10. Batch Transaction description field updated to only allow 25 characters in length.
  11. Validations for Mandatory Print/Entry fields on the Payers or Charges Tab corrected to no longer be enforced for payers that have a Bill Status equal to Printed, Transmitted or Open.
  12. Updated font size and vertical spacing for all grid column headers for easier viewing.
  13. Rounding of mileage charges for imported bills corrected.
  14. GNIS codes for associated cities on imported bills updated.
  15. Electronic Transmission rejections caused by Contact Information in the Agency Setup corrected.
  16. Billing Receivables Details Queue corrected to allow ending transaction dates other than current date.
  17. Batch Transactions calculations for payment transactions corrected to no longer double amounts.
