6.0.89 Billing Release Notes

Billing Release Scheduled for 3/22/23 at 7:00AM EST

NOTICE:  Release will take place from 7AM- 7:15AM, the application will not be accessible during the update.

It is recommended after each release; users clear their browser cache.  This can be done by using the F12 key on your keyboard, right-clicking on the browser refresh button and selecting "Empty Cache and Hard Reload".

This document explains functionality updates to the AIM Online V6 Billing application. For additional information, please contact Customer Support at 1-800-726-4362 or support@aim-system.com.

Setup Updates

  1. Billing, Form Definition updated to allow changes to any Form Type and/or field without effecting the file format sent to the clearinghouse (if enabled).

Billing Updates

  1. New Jersey Medicaid MC 12 Form, Other Coverage options updated to the most current lists.
  2. ANSI5010 Additional Info, Additional Secondary Payer Information, charge drop-down updated to be viewable without bill being in edit mode.
  3. Reconciliation Remittance headers updated to a more user-friendly format.
  4. New prompt for “Use Local Printer” added to printing prompts for clearinghouse users. This will allow the file to be printed to a local printer rather than sent to the clearinghouse.
  5. Import option for Process Reconciliation files updated to allow multiple files to be imported at one time, listing each file name and a total file count.

Improvements

  1. Editing the Alternative Mailing Address section of a Patient Payer will prompt if the user wants to update the associated Account.
  2. Billable Item descriptions that have been deleted from setup corrected to still print on bills.
  3. Transactions for Contractual Allowance Adjustments will only apply when it matches the payer that it was originally posted for.
  4. Account/Subscription search by Greater Than or Equal To corrected to sort results for all parameter options.
  5. Account Reports, Contractor Queue:
    1. Updated to sort based on Bill Number, regardless of additional fields added.
    2. Corrected to run with additional filter for Primary Policy Name without errors.
  6. Box 32 of the HCFA 1500 form updated to display the Name rather than Type when configured to print the full Picked Up/Taken To address.
  7. Trips from AIM ePCR updated to use the correct information to populate the Address Type in AIM Billing.
