6.0.98 Billing Release Notes
Billing Release Scheduled for 12/13/23 at 7:00AM EST
NOTICE: Release will take place from 7AM- 7:15AM, the application will not be accessible during the update.
It is recommended after each release; users clear their browser cache. This can be done by using the F12 key on your keyboard, right-clicking on the browser refresh button and selecting "Empty Cache and Hard Reload".

Report/Queue Updates
- “Bill Summary by Billable Item” Report added to Miscellaneous Reports. Lists bills grouped by Base Rate Billable Item.
- “Transaction Date Type” field added to the, Billing Receivables (Details) Report/Queue and Billing Receivables (Summary) report criteria. This allows for the report end-transaction date to be based off either the Biller Generated transaction date or System Generated transaction date.

A Biller Generated transaction date is the date a biller enters in a transaction posting, where the System Generated transaction date is based on the date the system tracks as the actual posted entry. Billers sometimes backdate transaction posting to match a deposit date, which is why there could be a difference in what is pulled based off biller generated versus system generated transaction date. - Reports and Queues will require the Date Range field to be completed (when the field is applicable) before the Preview/Download/Create buttons are available.

- “Billing Receivables Forecasting” Dashboard added. This will give an estimate of the open receivables, indicating how much can be expected to pay. This will help with forecasting what to expect by the end of an accounting period.
- “‘Biller Productivity” Report added to Administrative Reports, Productivity Reports. This will list all productivity for the Agency as well as individual billers, including bills added, edited, or viewed within a date range.
Setup Updates
- Export option added to Billing, Form Definitions.

- New Reports permission for “Administrative” added to Roles Setup.

Billing Updates
- If a primary payer exists, the Insurance Name, Commercial Electronic ID and Insurance Number fields will auto-populate for the primary payer information in the ANSI 5010 Additional Information sections.

- “Modify Payers” option added to Add Transactions, View Payers button. When selected, it will automatically direct the user to the Payers tab of the bill, in edit mode, to modify the payers of the bill.

Improvements
- Account Primary Insured Member information corrected to update for members that are Head of Household when “Update Account” is selected in the Billing Confirm Information/Update prompt.

- Third Party setting in Accounts Module corrected to update when an Alternative Mailing Address is used on a patient payer in the Billing Module.

- “Carry Last Bill DX” button updated to be available for use when “Use Selected from Existing Patient” is selected for third party imports.
- Additional filter for “Current Policy Name” in Reports updated to include all bills for that payer, regardless of any previous name changes.
- Middle Name now included in results for a Last Name, First Name search in Billing and Accounts.
- When the SSN field has all zeros for entry, if the Accident field is No or blank, zero’s will not be sent with file.
- Queues updated to sort column headers correctly from A-Z and Z-A.
- HCFA 1500, Additional Information, Event tab, Lab Charges field corrected to automatically populate a value of $0.00.

- A/R Overall Summary Report time element with date field corrected.
