Clearing a Locked Record

This utility clears the active editors on all bills and accounts.

A lock prevents other users from working on a record. Normal program processes should remove the lock, but due to various reasons, the lock may need to be cleared by this utility.

Example Error: Unable to edit record currently held by user <UserName>.

Select the Utilities icon on the top right of the menu bar.

Within the Data Maintenance window, select the option: Clear Locked Record(s).

Enter all requested information to clear the locked record.

  1. Select the Agency (if applicable).
  2. Click Run.
  3. A prompt confirms the lock has been cleared.
