Dispatch Call Intake Screens: Map Tab

The Map is intended to help users find unknown addresses for references purposes and to help route the closest unit. It opens Google Maps as a new window and uses Google Map functionality, which includes the ability to print the map and directions.

 

The address must be entered in the upper left.

Note: The best practice is to save the map as a PDF before printing.

 

The program provides no other functionality or interaction with Google Maps. The complete functionality of Google Maps is beyond the scope of this document. Please reference the help and settings available at the lower right of the Google Map Window.

Hint: The Map Button (with limited functionality) is available with the location groups and shows a Google Map for the address entered in that field.
