Dispatch Call Intake Screens > Saving Data
Always click the Save Icon when data entry has been completed in the Call Intake Screens. While each page and tab save when opening another, it is the best practice to save when the data entry has concluded to be sure data is saved on the current screen.
If the call is not properly saved (by clicking the Save Icon) and the browser window is closed, for any open calls, the record becomes locked and cannot be accessed by any other user in the Dispatch Module.
A call locked in this way is locked until that user logs in, searches, edits, and clicks the Save Icon.
