Dispatch Setup: Profile Setup
Dispatch Profiles

Profiles are templates for the field configurations of the Dispatch Module and can be related to the Incident Types. By avoiding the Incident Type, this functionality allows configurations based on company needs, not what NEMSIS field demands.
Every run entered in The AIM System through the Dispatch Module must have a profile.
A profile is referenced in the field configurations and can be fully configured there. Some profile configurations can be marked directly on the profile.
Two profiles are pre-loaded with the program: Schedule and Emergency. These can be edited or deleted and new profiles can be created.
To create a profile:
- Click the Add Button.
- Enter a name.
- Selecta profile to copy: this action will copy the field configurations from the selected profile.
- Mark the profileconfigurations as needed.
- Click Save.
- Configure the profile in theField Configurations Area.
Regarding New Profiles and Rejections, make sure to consult the State Data Dictionary for NEMSIS V3 Formatting. Field configurations need to be reviewed for immediate validations on runs using this new profile and XML. Submissions to the state must be reviewed for any unanticipated rejections due to the new profile.
Profiles can be configured as Reported to State, Post to Billing, and Is Emergency.
Reported to State allows run data to be sent the State by XML when marked as finished.
Post to Billing posts runs to The AIM System Billing Module when finished.
Emergency allows a trip to be created without completing a patient lookup.
Opens to Quick Intake Page the dispatch record will open to the Quick Intake page and not the Incident page.
