Dispatch Supplemental
This setup area creates prompts, which are essentially new fields in the program, for data entry purposes. This is a way to collect and organize data not otherwise found in the module.
Each entry has a Name (up to twenty (20) characters), Value Type (data format), Visible and Mandatory field.
Note: Supplemental Prompts are reference only and not on reports.
The Value Type Drop-Down has these options:
Number, Text, Date, Time and Currency are self-explanatory and format data as appropriate.
Example: Select Time to provide a calendar to enter and/or properly format a date.
True/False creates a checkbox, allowing for a marked or unmarked field.
Text/Quick Pick creates a category in the Quick Pick Setup Area, and also allows for <Add New> when the user selects from the quick pick field for this prompt.
Note: If a prompt is deleted, data collected in the field in the Supplemental Tab, on all Trip Numbers, is removed as well.
Dropdown and Multi-select dropdown enables the one-to-many Value Selection section to allow entry of values that will show in a drop down field.
Show on Quick Intake enables field to appear on the Quick Intake Tab in addition to the Tab selected from the Tab dropdown.
