Dispatch Call Data Entry: Times & Mileages Tab
This tab provides Time Fields and Mileages (Odometer Readings) to calculate Total Miles.
These fields are expected to be updated in the Dispatch Call Queue. The field format is Month/Day/Year and Hour/Minute/Seconds. All data is required to the second. A user can type in all these numbers directly; the program formats the data as it is typed.
Hitting the ENTER Key populates the current Date/Time in a field. If data is already in the field, the current Date/Time overwrites the old data.
With the keyboard arrows (or a touch screen), position the cursor where changes are needed, to change this data.

PSAP is when the phone answered at the Public Safety Answering Point (911 Call Center or designated entity) for EMS Services.
Dispatch Notified indicates when Dispatch was informed by a caller or the 911 call taker.
Notified by Dispatch indicates when the unit is informed.
Dispatch Acknowledged indicates when the unit confirms info from the dispatcher.
En Route indicates when the unit responds (vehicle starts moving).
On Scene indicates when the unit arrives (vehicle stops moving).
At Patient indicates when the crew is at the side of the patient.
Transfer EMS Patient Care indicates when the patient is transferred to another EMS agency for care.
Left Scene indicates when the unit leaves (vehicle starts moving) with the patient.
At Destination Landing Area indicates when the Air Medical Unit arrives (stops moving).
Patient At Destination indicates when the unit arrives (stops moving) at the Destination/Transfer Point.
Destination Transfer Care indicates when the patient is transferred to destination facility staff.
Back in Service indicates when the unit is available for a call (not necessarily at the station).
Canceled indicates when the call is cancelled. Entering this time does not cancel this call.
Back Home indicates when the unit is back at the station, by Agency Status Management protocol.
Completed indicates when unit has completed all tasks of the call, including cleaning and restocking. Entering this time does not complete this call.

This group of fields records odometer readings and provides Total Miles and the Total Loaded Mileages. These fields are typically updated from the Dispatch Call Queue.
Odometer Readings must be larger than the data in the previous field, otherwise the calculations result in negative numbers. Invalid data entry is not allowed.
Beginning indicates the odometer reading when the wheels began moving.
On Scene indicates the odometer reading when the unit arrives on scene.
Patient at Destination indicates the odometer reading when the unit arrives (with the patient).
Ending indicates the odometer reading when the unit is back in service.
Total Mileage is calculated from Beginning to Ending.
Loaded Mileage is calculated from On Scene to Patient at Destination.
Changes in Unit Status affect the Call Status in the Dispatch Call Queue, with the exception of Cancelled and Completed; because these affect the availability of the call on the Dispatch Call Queue, these must be updated by the action buttons on the Dispatch Call Queue.

The Comments Textbox details and explains the entered times for Narrative, report, and review purposes.
