Patient Care Hard Copy Report
The Hard Copy report provides a printable version of the ePCR.
The Patient Care Hard Copy Report is the printable version of the ePCR. There are multiple versions of the Hard Copy Report:
- Hard Copy: Normal hard copy report. Contains all pertinent fields from the ePCR in addition to signatures once they are recorded.
- Hard Copy with Attachments: Normal hard copy report, but downloads as a .zip files containing all file attachments. Any image or .pdf attachments are appended to the hard copy report itself.
- Hard Copy Signature: This will allow for a printable version of any of the Signature Agreements from the Signature Tab. Printer is required for these to be signed. Only necessary in rare circumstances where a digital signature cannot be used.
- Hard Copy (with Redaction): Normal hard copy report, but all Patient Health Information (PHI) is removed. The document is HIPAA compliant.
- Hard Copy Supplemental: This is a printable version of the custom questions from the Supplemental Tab. Custom fields created in Supplemental Setup do not appear on the regular Hard Copy Report, so the Hard Copy Supplemental needs to be printed alongside the Hard Copy Report in the event those custom questions need to become part of the printed record of this encounter.
Hardcopies are available at any time during data entry and are not affected by finishing the PCR. Information entered on a specific PCR as well as forms with associated signatures entered for that specific PCR are available as a Hardcopy. Selecting one of the Hardcopy options creates a PDF - open that file to print, save or fax.
Running the Hard Copy report will download that report to your machine. Open the file to view or print the report. If the mobile device or laptop does not have a printer, save the hardcopy and email it to be printed later.
The PDF file can be saved by normal browser and operating system processes. Always be sure of where the file is being saved, if it needs to be emailed, as that location is not controlled by The AIM System.
The AIM System auto fax feature can be used to allow a web-based process to fax the PDF to a facility that requires the form in a timely manner.
