Import Setup from Customer/Agency Utility
This utility allows you to copy setup data (payers, locations, and common ICD codes) from another customer/agency you have access to, eliminating the need to manually configure these settings for new agencies.
Accessing the Utility
- Navigate to Data Maintenance Utilities
- Select Import Setup from Customer/Agency

How to Use
Step 1: Select Source Customer/Agency
Choose the customer/agency whose setup you want to copy from using the dropdown menu. This list includes all customers/agencies you have access to.
Step 2: Choose What to Copy
The utility has three sections for different setup types:
Payers
Select one of the following options:
- Don't Copy (default) - Skip copying payers
- Copy All Payers - Copy every payer from the source
- Copy Recently Used Payers (past 12 months) - Copy only payers used within the last year
Provider Number Handling:
- Replace with new value - Enter a new Provider Number (typically NPI) to use for all copied payers that have an existing Provider Number
- Leave blank - Remove Provider Numbers from copied payers
Locations
Select one of the following options:
- Don't Copy (default) - Skip copying locations
- Copy All Locations - Copy every location from the source
- Copy Recently Used Locations (past 12 months) - Copy only locations used within the last year
- Copy Locations by Type - Select specific location types to copy:
- Clinic
- Diagnostic/Therapeutic Center
- Freestanding ESRD Facility
- Hospital

Common ICD Codes
Select one of the following options:
- Don't Copy (default) - Skip copying common ICD codes
- Copy All Common ICD Codes - Copy every common ICD code from the selected agency
Step 3: Review Summary
The summary section displays what will be copied based on your selections. Review this before proceeding.
Step 4: Run or Cancel
- Cancel - Close the utility without making changes
- Run - Execute the copy operation (only enabled when a source is selected and at least one setup type is chosen)
After Running
A success message displays showing how many payers, locations, and common ICD codes were copied to the current customer/agency.
Example: "Successfully copied 45 payers, 82 locations, and 10 common ICD codes to current Customer/Agency"

Important Notes
- You must select at least one setup type (other than "Don't Copy") to run the utility
- If the source customer/agency has no data for a selected type, you'll see a message indicating no data was found
- Default setup that already exists in the current agency will not be copied to avoid duplication
- When using the Provider Number replacement option, only payers with an existing Provider Number will receive the new value
