Modifier 1 Setup

Modifiers are set up by the payer, for all location-to-location combinations.

List of all configured payers and the corresponding modifiers that are associated.

Modifiers entered in this setup will autopopulate in the Modifier 1 field of the Charges Tab when a payer is paired with the Picked Up Address and Taken To Address during data entry of the Transport Tab. Modifier 1 setup should be reviewed before starting data entry in Billing.

Filter: To narrow the results of a list, begin typing the Payer Category you are searching for.

Actions:

Edit: If changes need to be made to an entry, use the edit button.

Edit Entry:


When edit is selected, it opens the data entry for editing the modifiers for the selected Payer Type.

Picked Up Location and Taken To Location fields are Read Only.

There should be a Modifier listed for every variation of Picked Up/Taken to options available. 

Selecting Close will take the user back to the main setup menu. If Close is selected and entries have not been saved, users will be prompted.

When Save is selected, edits to the entry are updated for that payer and take the user back to the main screen.
