This section captures dispatch information related to the EMS response.
Dispatch Center Name - Optional (eDispatch.04)
- The name or ID of the dispatch center providing electronic data to the PCR
- Used to identify which dispatch center (PSAP) is providing CAD information to the ePCR
- Helpful when multiple dispatch centers send resources to the same incident
Dispatch Reason - Mandatory (eDispatch.01)
- The dispatch reason reported to the responding unit
- Options include:
- Abdominal Pain/Problems
- Active Shooter
- Airmedical Transport
- Allergic Reaction/Stings
- Altered Mental Status
- Animal Bite
- Assault
- Automated Crash Notification
- Back Pain (Non-Traumatic)
- Breathing Problem
- Burns/Explosion
- Carbon Monoxide/Hazmat/Inhalation/CBRN
- Cardiac Arrest/Death
- Chest Pain (Non-Traumatic)

Priority - Optional (eDispatch.05)
- The patient acuity as determined through information obtained during the EMD process
- Options: Critical, Emergent, Lower Acuity, Non-Acute (e.g., Scheduled Transfer or Standby)
- Common EMD priority mappings: Echo/Delta = Critical, Charlie/Bravo = Emergent, Alpha = Lower Acuity, Omega = Non-Acute
EMD Performed - Required (eDispatch.02)
- Indicates whether Emergency Medical Dispatch was performed for this EMS event
- Options: No, Yes (With Pre-Arrival Instructions), Yes (Without Pre-Arrival Instructions), Yes (Unknown if Pre-Arrival Instructions Given)
Determinant Code - Optional (eDispatch.03)
- The EMD determinant code reported by dispatch
- Consists of the card number, dispatch level, and dispatch mode (1-10 characters)
- Example: 10D1, 17A1, etc.
Incident Class - Optional (Custom)
- Custom field used for reporting and filtering within the Dispatch module
- Primarily used by AIM Dispatch customers
- Users can create their own incident classes to filter the Dispatch Call Queue and reports
- Alternative: Site Code Quick Pick functions the same way
Date/Time Call Received - Optional (Custom - Georgia State Requirement)
- Georgia state-specific field required for Georgia customers only
- Populates data required by regional EMS management in Georgia
- Used on the Dispatch Log by Date Range Report
- Not applicable for customers outside of Georgia
Source of Call - Optional (Custom)
- Custom field to document the source of the dispatch call
Callback Number - Optional (Custom)
- Custom field to document callback contact information
- Serves the same purpose as Source of Call
