Patient Care Setup: Supplemental Setup
ePCR Supplemental
This setup area creates prompts, which are essentially new fields in the program for data entry purposes.
These are found on in the Documentation Area of the Supplemental Tab. This is a way to collect and organize data not otherwise found in the ePCR Module.
Each entry has a Name (up to 20 characters) and a Value Type (data format).
Note: Supplemental Prompts are reference only.
The Value Type Drop-Down has these options:
Number, Text, Date, Time and Currency are self-explanatory, formatting data as appropriate.
For example, select time to provide a calendar to enter/properly format a date.
True/False creates a checkbox, allowing for a marked or unmarked field.
Quick Pick creates a category in the Quik-Pik Setup Area, and also allows for the <Add New> when
Selecting from the Quik-Pik Field for this prompt.
Note: If a prompt is deleted, data collected in the field in the Supplemental Tab, on all Trip Numbers, is removed as well.
The ability to set the additional field(s) as Visible and/or Mandatory can be accomplished by checking the corresponding box.
Dropdown and Multi-select dropdown enables the Value Selection section for entry of values to display in the drop down field.
