Quality Assurance Area

Verification should be a part of the Quality Assurance process. This allows for trips to be reviewed and not immediately made available to billing or exported to the state.

The best practice for QA settings in the AIM System is to enable both 'Require QA Before State Export' and 'Require QA Before Post to Billing' in Patient Care Setup's Configuration Switches Setup. This will allow for a quality assurance review before the report sends to the state and/or billing. This is highly recommended for AIM Billing customers due to updates made to the PCR after the bill is generated not being able to sync back to the bill after it has already been created.
