Remote Link ePCR

Remote Link ePCR is an optional add-on to AIM ePCR that allows for certain devices to create/complete ePCRs while not connected to the internet in the field. AIM Remote Link ePCR should always be installed by AIM SUPPORT.

Pre-installation Requirements

  1. Must be logged onto the Remote Link device as an Administrator
  2. Must have reliable internet connection
  3. Users must have logged into command device to change their initial password
  4. Disable any Anti-Virus or Security Programs
  5. Complete all Windows updates
  6. Restart device prior to Remote Link Installation Process

Note to System Administrators for multiple installations:

If you are installing multiple units and need an installation package, please contact AIM Support. AIM Support can provide you with the required installation files.  These files (dustball.bak, Dustball Application.zip and SQLEXPR_x64_ENU) will need to be copied to “C:\AIMRemoteLink” prior to running the installation process below.

The Sync Process

When the AIM System is opened from a shortcut, the feature will check if Setup and Security

is current. If changes have occurred in Setup or Security a synchronization (Sync) is triggered

to update the Remote Unit. It is recommended to Sync the device at least once a day.
