Update Address on All Open Bills for an Account
This utility updates the primary patient address on selected open bills.
When a patient changes address information, the Address Fields on previously entered bill numbers do not automatically update. The change is stored in the Accounts Module. This utility is used to update that information on any open bill number in the Account.
Before using this utility:
- Save the address changes in the Account Members Tab.
- Note the account number and all account members involved.
- Know that changes in the Patient Address do not affect Picked Up/Taken To Locations.
Within the Billing Module, select the Utilities icon on the top right of the menu bar.
Within the Data Maintenance window, select the option: Update Open Bill Address(es).

Enter all requested information to update the address.

- Select the Agency (if applicable).
- Type in the Account Number.
- Select next.
- Select open bills to include in the update.
- Click Run.
- A prompt confirms the address update was completed and the option to view the log file.
