Warning Letters - Medicaid Eligibility Status Queue
This queue assists with identifying patient Medicaid Eligibility status prior to deciding whether to send a warning letter to that patient or not.
This Queue requires use of the Medicaid Eligibility Management process to be enabled in order to be most effective.
This report shows statements ready to be printed, allowing you to review them before you print. This Queue provides the same report criteria as the Statements Waiting to Be Printed - All Queue but adds some additional columns on the queue output to help billers ascertain whether or not a patient should be sent a warning letter via providing details on the patient's Medicaid Eligibility status.

To run this report, simply click Create Queue. Filtering options like Range Type, Start/End Dates, and Site Code are not required.

This report shows statements ready to be generated and allows a review of statements before they are actually processed. The queue output matches the Statements Waiting to Be Printed - All Queue with two additional columns added after the Date of Service column:
- Last Medicaid Check: indicates the last eligibility check for a medicaid-type payer
- Medicaid Result: indicates the result of the last medicaid eligibility check:
- Found: the last medicaid eligibility check returned active coverage on or before the date of service of the bill.
- Not found, eligibility review continues: the last medicaid eligibility check did not return active coverage, but the bill will continue to be checked via the Medicaid Eligibility Management process
- Not found, removed from eligibility review: this bill had been removed from the Medicaid Eligibility Management process, indicating that a warning letter may be necessary to send to the patient at this point.
