Changing PCR Assignments
AIM ePCR provides the ability for management or admin users to reassign patient care reports to new creators if a PCR had been created under the wrong login.
The Change Assignment feature on patient care reports allows users to change the creator of the PCR and reassign it to a different user. To do so, the user making the change must have sufficient permissions to be able to do so. The user must have the Roles Setup permission "Reassign PCR" enabled for at least one of the roles assigned to that user in User Maintenance Setup.

Users with this permission enabled for their role will see a button available at the top-right corner of patient care reports they view.

Changing a PCR Assignment will clear the data from the Crew Tab - the crew members will need to be re-entered. This is done so that the crew who actually need to complete the report will be the only crew who will find this PCR in their PCR Queue.

Selecting 'Yes' to this pop up will direct you to a new prompt where you will enter the name or username of the newly-assigned user. Once you select the user from the dropdown, select 'Reassign PCR' to execute the assignment change.

The patient care report will then be able to be found by the newly-assigned user in their Patient Care Report Queue. They will need to re-enter the crew members on the Crew Tab, but all other information will be retained. The assignment change will be tracked on the Audit Log report for that patient care report.
