AIM Intelligence 1.0 Release Notes

AIM Intelligence transforms your EMS billing workflow with AI-powered automation across the entire revenue cycle. From intelligent coding suggestions and automated eligibility checks to streamlined imports and scheduled reporting, this comprehensive suite eliminates manual tasks and accelerates reimbursement.

The features below help automate critical processes including ICD-10 code selection, deductible tracking, Medicaid eligibility verification, and performance analytics, giving your team more time to focus on complex claims while maximizing revenue capture.

Intelligent Report Management

  1. My Reports & My Queues
    • The My Reports and My Queues features enables users to create, save, and share customized report or queue templates with preserved parameters and filters that can be quickly executed again in the future.

AI-Powered Intelligence Tools

  1.  AIM Intelligence Setup 
    • AIM Intelligence Setup provides centralized control over all AI-powered features, allowing administrators to customize automated processes for patient lookup, ICD-10 coding assistance, Medicaid eligibility tracking, and deductible management. Access requires appropriate role permissions.
  2.  Potential ICD 10 Codes Prompt 
    • The Potential ICD-10 Codes feature uses AI to analyze patient care report data points including chief complaints, symptoms, impressions, and narratives to suggest relevant diagnosis codes based on historical billing patterns and confidence scoring.
  3.  Deductible Management 
    • The Deductible Management feature automatically monitors patient deductible balances through scheduled eligibility checks, holding bills until deductibles reach configurable thresholds or time limits to optimize claim submission timing and increase reimbursement likelihood.
  4.  Medicaid Eligibility Management 
    • The Medicaid Eligibility Management feature automates continuous Medicaid coverage verification, monitoring eligibility before and on service dates through scheduled checks, and automatically routes bills back to billers when active coverage is discovered within configurable time limits.

Automated Operations

  1.  Automatic Account Selections on Import 
    • The Predictive Patient Lookup feature automatically matches imported bills to existing patient accounts by analyzing key identifiers like SSN, date of birth, name, and address, streamlining the verification process during import.
  2.  Report Scheduler 
    • The Report Scheduler automates routine report delivery by allowing users to save search criteria, set flexible delivery frequencies, configure dynamic date ranges, and securely distribute password-protected reports to multiple recipients via email.
  3.  Task Scheduler 
    • The Task Scheduler automates routine billing operations by scheduling print file compilation, claim transmissions, statement generation, and warning letter creation at configurable intervals, with email notifications confirming task completion.

Performance Analytics

Access to AIM Intelligence Reports requires the AIM Intelligence Reports role permission to be enabled. This will not be enabled by default. Please be advised that the AIM Intelligence Reports run across all agencies in your AIM System. Please use discretion when enabling access to these reports.

  1.  Billing Performance Report 
    • The Billing Performance Report provides comprehensive monthly insights into agency billing cycles, tracking key metrics from service date to claim closure including import speed, billing response times, and patient billing intervals across all agencies in your AIM Billing system.
  2.  Import Performance Report 
    • The Import Performance Report offers instant visibility into import processes across your agencies, tracking the latest import activity, volume of bills processed, and most recent service dates to help monitor data flow efficiency.
  3.  Rate Comparison Report 
    • The Rate Comparison Report analyzes billable rates across AIM customers in your region, state, and zip code, providing comprehensive pricing insights to help ensure your agency's rates remain competitive in the market.

  1.  Potential ICD 10 Usage Metrics Report 
    • The Potential ICD-10 Codes Usage Metrics Report tracks how billers interact with AI-suggested diagnosis codes, measuring adoption rates and the accuracy of code suggestions while providing detailed insights into code selection patterns across your agencies.
  2.  Deductible Management Usage Metrics Report 
    • The Deductible Management Usage Metrics Report monitors the lifecycle of claims in deductible tracking, measuring process duration, check frequency, and deductible balance changes to quantify the financial impact of automated deductible monitoring.
  3.  Medicaid Eligibility Management Usage Metrics Report 
    • The Medicaid Eligibility Management Usage Metrics Report tracks claims in the eligibility verification process, measuring duration of monitoring, frequency of automatic and manual checks, and process completion dates to optimize Medicaid eligibility tracking.
