Report/Queue Updates

  1. Resolved an issue where running the Open Accounts With Locations Report with specific filtering options selected would cause charges to be listed multiple times for the same bills.
  2. Corrected the header of the User Entry Tracking Report to indicate the bill Creation Date Range rather than a Date of Service Range on the report output.
  3. Added “Estimated Collections % Range” fields to the Dashboard > Billing Receivables Forecasting Report.
    1. Entering a date range in these fields will allow the system to compare that date range for the Estimated Collections percentage.
    2. Not using these fields will use the last year for comparison as normal.

Setup Updates

  1. Resolved display issues with Narrative Templates Setup in both the Billing and Accounts/Sub Module Setup areas.
Billing Updates
  1. Updated the handling of account payers once they are removed from Commercial Payers Setup. Previously deleted account payers won’t carry from last trip nor will they be available in the Add Payer screen.
    1. When attempting to transmit a bill using a previously-deleted payer, the system now uses the address from that payer when transmitting bills, rather than showing a warning about missing payer addresses.
  2. Resolved an issue where conditional modifiers would not populate if a payer was added via the Eligibility screen.
  3. If the Accident field on the Additional Information Tab of the Electronic Data Entry screens indicates either Yes or Unknown while associated accident-related fields are blank, the system will prompt the user to enter the rest of the required accident-related fields.
  4. Resolved an issue where carrying payers from previous bills did not correctly indicate the active payer as primary until after the bill was saved.
  5. Updated Hospital to Hospital / Skilled Nursing Facility to Skilled Nursing Facility transport workflow on electronic bills. When the system detects these matching transport location types, the following fields in the Additional Information > Ambulance Information Tab will automatically populate:
    1. Discharge From First Facility = Yes
    2. Discharge Date = Bill’s Date of Service
    3. Admitted to Second Facility = Yes
    4. Service Available at First Facility = No
    5. Note: This will overwrite any data currently defaulted or entered in these fields at that time for claims that have not yet been billed.
  6. Resolved an issue with the Add With Carry function in order to correctly pull Procedure Codes for Base Rate, Mileage Rate, and Other Charges sections of the Charges Tab.
  7. Updated the import process to match transport locations without case sensitivity.

Improvements

  1. Resolved display issues with the Narrative Templates Quick Pick screen in both the Billing and Accounts/Sub Modules.
  2. Improved response of Yes / No prompts in the system so that the ENTER or N keys can be used to quickly select ‘No’ and the Y key can be used to quickly select ‘Yes’.
  3. Various improvements to Search functions in the Billing Module have been made in order to return the most relevant results first.
  4. Corrected access to functions in Quick Pick screens when the active user does not have access to the corresponding setup areas.
  5. Corrected role access in User Maintenance when the active user did not have access to User Maintenance Setup in other agencies.
