  1. When running the Billing Receivables Forecasting Report, the Ending Transaction date will be used to calculate the aging buckets, if entered.
  2. A Queue option for the Billing Reports Module > Accounting Reports Category: Aging Detail by Current Payer Report has been added.
  3. Report/queue name and description changes have occurred within the Billing Reports > Accounting Reports category:
    1. Monthly Cash Transactions Report/Queue has been updated to: Transaction Report – Cash
    2. Monthly Revenue Transactions Report/Queue has been updated to: Transaction Report – Revenue
      1. These reports descriptions have also been updated to indicate they can only be ran for a 31-day date range.
  4. A new report/queue has been added to the Billing Reports Module > Accounting Reports Category: Transaction Report – Contractual Allowance.
      1. This report provides the date, bill number, patient, and contractual allowance transactions posted within a date range of 31 days.

Setup Updates

  1. Billing Setup > Billable Items/Procedure Codes Setup will now allow for code values with a maximum length of 8 alphanumeric characters. Previously code values were limited to only 5 characters.
  2. Matching Patient Invoice Comment fields (4) have been added to Commercial Payers Setup. If entered for a commercial payer, when a Matching Patient Invoice is printed for that payer, those comments will display on the invoice.

Accounts/Subscription Updates

  1. When viewing the Information Tab for a patient account with several account members in the Accounts/Sub module, the Head of Household member will be shown first with a * character next to their name in the Other Members section.

Billing Updates

  1. Performance enhancements to the Connect to Retrieve Reports and Process Reconciliation screens have been made in order to load these screens much quicker than previously.
  2. Multiple updates made to the Matching Patient Invoice:
    1. Matching Patient Invoice Comments can now be configured for Commercial Payers in their Commercial Payers Setup record. When a Matching Patient Invoice is printed for that payer, it will print the comments for that payer at the bottom of the matching invoice.
    2. A text format is now available for Matching Patient Invoices if using clearinghouse print services.
  3. The system will now prompt the user to disable the "Set Incomplete Status" option if they complete a Router Tab record when the bill is incomplete because of the "Set Incomplete Status" checkbox on the Payers Tab.
  4. Rejection-type transactions will now allow for supporting documentation to be linked to file attachments within the Manage File Attachments Utility with the Link EOB button if a value for the Payment Number field is entered while posting.
  5. Reconciliation process corrected to no longer factor-in the Agency Setup > Recon Payment Posting Options Section when the user has selected to process a remit using the Process With Options function, which gives full control over the postings.

Improvements

  1. After running a Queue report that is configured to run without a date of service range, if the user selects the back button, the Search Criteria page will retain the configurable option to run the report with a date of service range.
  2. Fixed an issue where after running a Queue report, its Search Criteria would display again if the user changed report categories.
  3. Billing Hardcopy Report corrected to show the full text of Bill Remarks.
  4. Improvements have been made to transmission file format of the DPA Payer Type to reduce claim denials.
