New Features & Enhancements
Reports & Queues
- Added Agency dropdown to Biller Productivity Report. The report can now be run for multiple agencies at once, provided the user has access to those agencies.
- Added Profile Setup Report. This report shows the settings for all currently-configured profiles and allows profiles to be copied from one agency to another easily.
- Added Number of Agencies Compared to Rate Comparison Report.
- Added queue option for the Imported Bills by Date Range Report.
- Users can now see the original agency a report or queue was shared from in the Shared Reports/Queues tabs.
- Added Payer ID column to the Payer Activity Report for context. A queue version of this report is also now available.
Setup
- Reordered the list of fields in the Bill Transport page of Profiles Setup for efficiency.
- Added new Action Quick Pick to all customers for use with the Automatic Rejection button: Automatic Rejection. Details for this new button can be found below.
- Added Skip Aging for Current Cycle Payments setting to Statements & Aging Setup to prevent aging bills that have had a payment made within the current statement cycle.
- Added Automatically Remove Statement Comments When Removed From Timed Payments setting to Accounts/Sub Configuration Settings Setup to automatically remove statement comments in the Accounts/Sub Module's Other Tab when the account is automatically removed from the timed payments process. This requires the Automatically Remove Timed Payments setting to be enabled.
Billing
- Added capture of crew-collected insurance details (Policy Name/Number) during post from AIM ePCR or import processes for both new and existing patient accounts. These details are presented to the biller for potential use, usually with an electronic form type (if applicable for that payer type).
- Added Crew-Collected Insurance Grid to Other Tab.
- This grid stores insurance data collected by the crew on the patient care report.
- Displays when crew records Insurance Name and Policy Number on an imported bill or when the report posts from AIM ePCR or Dispatch.
- Enhanced Automatic Bill Numbering For 3rd Party PCR Import setting to display the PCR's Incident Number along with the Patient Care Number in the import error log, making it easier to find the associated PCR in the 3rd party ePCR system.
- Added Active Router Actions column to the Process Recon With Options grid so billers can quickly check if any active routes exist on a bill before processing the payment file.
- Added significant data entry automation for electronic secondary claims. Most data entry for the next electronic payer now automatically transfers from the primary payer when the next electronic payer is added to the bill.
- If data entry is not complete when the next electronic payer is added, the Pull Primary Payer Data button will manually copy the information. This button has been moved to the top of the Additional Information screen.
- Check Number added to Payment Receipt.
- Added Automatic Rejection Button to Connect to Retrieve Reports screen. This feature automatically handles rejecting bills indicated on 277 files after the 277 report has been downloaded. The system keeps the bill(s) in reject status and routes them to the user who used the button. It hyperlinks the original 277 report in the transaction screen and downloads an Audit Report with rejection details for reference.
- Added new fields to the Miscellaneous Tab of the ANSI 5010 payer data entry screen: Unit Left Scene, Patient Arrival At Destination.
- For payers requiring a date of service range for transports that span midnight, use these fields to send the date of service range (Example: Illinois Medicaid).
- These fields are also available in Field Configuration Setup for configuration when applicable.
- Enhanced transaction window to automatically scroll to the bottom of the transaction list after posting a transaction so users can see their newly-posted transaction.
General Improvements
- The Patient Account Summary Report (by Patient Account) can now be ran directly from the More Options dropdown on the Action Toolbar in the Billing and Accounts/Sub modules.
- Updated the Subscriber Status Update by Date Range Utility to no longer incorrectly indicate an error when no updates were needed.

Setup

- Fixed issue where if a Picked Up or Taken To Location was defaulted for a profile, the Location Type would not populate.
Billing

- Resolved issue where the Process Recon With Options screen would sometimes lock up after selecting a crossover payer.
